This Cancer Constellation Necklace, inspired by vintage star charts, has swirling, inky resin hand poured into a pendant that hangs from a gold-filled or sterling silver chain.

Glowing glass microbeads are carefully hand placed to create the Cancer constellation, floating in the resin.

The scene is captured within a hand cast frame, with "CANCER" hand stamped across the band.

Each piece has a gold-filled, hand-stamped, jewelry tag with that sign's zodiac symbol.

Each pendant comes attached to a jewelry card highlighting the attributes of the astrological sign.

Packaged in a gift-ready jewelry box including a polishing cloth and care instruction card.

I take great care in selecting the materials I use for my jewelry. It is important to me that the metal I use is beautiful, of the highest quality, while also being strong enough to be worn frequently.

I use 14k gold filled instead of gold plating because of its durability, strength and resistance to tarnish. Gold plating often flakes off quickly and tarnishes easily. Real gold is too soft for everyday wear. My gold filled jewelry can be worn daily and will last for years if maintained properly.

All of my silver jewelry is made with sterling silver. Sterling silver holds up well when soldered and doesn’t tarnish easily. I also love the way silver highlights different dimensions of color in my hand mixed resin.

As gold filled can not be cast I use solid bronze for my hand cast components. Bronze compliments the gold well and has an earthy quality to it as it wears.

Everything went smoothly.. highly recommend. Sooo Happy with my “cancer” constellation necklace. It is even prettier in person. The first day I wore it two people stopped me (from a distance). LOL. And complimented me on it !!

My husband gave me this necklace as a birthday gift and I absolutely love it! The deep night sky color is gorgeous and it goes with everything. Both sides of the pendant are stunning, so I switch it around each time I wear it. I get so many compliments on it! This is now my go-to gift for friends birthday presents--I think I've bought a Gemini, a Libra, and another Cancer. My friends all love theirs as well.
