A beautiful, handmade reminder of our place in the universe and connection to each other.

This Solar System Necklace has golden glass microbeads carefully hand placed to create our sun and planets on a backdrop of the shimmering milky way galaxy made of mica. The scene floats in a sparkling inky resin and is covered with a clear dome, adding dimensions and depth to this celestial scene.

Stamped with the word STARDUST, the bezel is hand cast from your choice of sterling silver or bronze and hangs from a 14k gold filled or sterling silver chain. A hand-stamped starburst charm is attached to each chain at the clasp.

Every pendant is made to order and may vary slightly from the images above.

Each necklace comes attached to a jewelry card and packaged in a gift ready jewelry box including a polishing cloth and care instruction card.

I take great care in selecting the materials I use for my jewelry. It is important to me that the metal I use is beautiful, of the highest quality, while also being strong enough to be worn frequently.

I use 14k gold filled instead of gold plating because of its durability, strength and resistance to tarnish. Gold plating often flakes off quickly and tarnishes easily. Real gold is too soft for everyday wear. My gold filled jewelry can be worn daily and will last for years if maintained properly.

All of my silver jewelry is made with sterling silver. Sterling silver holds up well when soldered and doesn’t tarnish easily. I also love the way silver highlights different dimensions of color in my hand mixed resin.

As gold filled can not be cast I use solid bronze for my hand cast components. Bronze compliments the gold well and has an earthy quality to it as it wears.

This is the third piece I’ve purchased & actually the second solar system necklace. I purchased an earlier version of the necklace, without the Milk Way, and the contrast and sparkle add so much to the piece I had to repurchase! It’s an absolutely stunning, unique necklace.

This is an extremely beautiful and unique piece. I love wearing it and get many compliments! It's a grounding piece for me, reminding me that I am both part of something greater as well as a complete universe unto myself. It also just looks super cool and layers really well with other pieces! It has a weighty, substantial feel and the color is dark and nuanced in person.
